After setting up a transfer job, you may decide that you need to change the selected questions or field linking. The procedure is largely the same regardless of whether you are transferring data into Salesforce from the respondent table or from the survey response table. Because the two workflows are so similar we will illustrate the procedure using the feature to export from survey response data as the example, but the process is the same if you are modifying a job to export respondent table data.
To edit an existing job, select Edit Linking from the Actions drop-down for that job

Select and deselect the checkboxes next to the Forsta Plus survey questions / respondent fields to add or remove them from the data transfer job. Questions / fields that are currently mapped will already be checked.

Make any required changes to the field linking and/or create new fields on the Salesforce custom object.
One particularly useful reason to change the linking is so that you can write Salesforce reference IDs from the Forsta Plus record directly into a Salesforce reference field (for example a Lookup or Master-Detail relationship). Reference fields can be used inside Salesforce to link a survey response or respondent record directly to a related Salesforce object record (for example a specific Contact, an Account, or a Case associated with the survey response or respondent record). CRM Connector for Salesforce cannot create reference fields; they should be created inside Salesforce. However, the wizard can link to an existing reference field - , as shown in the figure below.
Important
The menu of available Salesforce fields for linking will only show valid field linkings. Fields whose Salesforce data type cannot be linked to a Forsta Plus data type will be visible but grayed out in the menu. Salesforce fields that cannot be updated through the Salesforce API will not appear in the menu list at all. Note that when creating a Master-Detail relationship inside Salesforce, you must set the option to Allow re-parenting if you want to use it here. Without that setting, you cannot update the relationship and so CRM Connector will not list that choice.

You can control the Salesforce bulk upload batch size here. This is a debugging feature. CRM Connector for Salesforce exports survey response data or respondent data into Salesforce in batches of 5000 records. Often when setting up an integration, Salesforce has been configured by the administrator to automatically process the Forsta Plus data records after a CRM Connector upload (for example with a Process Builder workflow or an APEX handler). However, if that Salesforce process fails because of invalid data stored in Forsta Plus, Salesforce may reject an entire group of survey records. This feature is helpful in that scenario because you can temporarily set the batch size to 1 and load the records into Salesforce one at a time to more easily see which specific records have the data problem. It is best practice to leave this at the normal default setting to make sure you won’t exceed your daily global Salesforce API call limits.
